Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, and the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Jon Watts, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, and Thomas Haden Church.
In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker asks Doctor Strange for help when his secret identity as Spider-Man is revealed, leading to chaos in his life. Strange casts a spell to make everyone forget Peter’s identity, but it goes wrong, causing villains from other universes to appear, including Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman, and Lizard.
